machines that
work the field.

BESTARORG is an independent agricultural robotics venture building CropSCOUT: an autonomous robot for greenhouses and small vegetable farms — precision spraying and crop monitoring on one modular base.

The story

Tashkent to Tempe

BESTARORG isn't a new idea wearing a new name — it's the same builder's instinct, pointed at a bigger problem.

2020
A teenage IT company, Tashkent
Asadbek Ruziev founded BESTARORG at 15, teaching himself web, mobile, and embedded development. Early releases included Vikme (an open-source messenger), a five-system Smart Home Automation prototype, and a medical promobot concept.
2021 – 2022
EyeMed & Adiblar.uz ship
A 7-person team shipped EyeMed, a cross-platform eye-health app, and Adiblar.uz, a digital archive of Uzbek literature — reaching 3,000+ people and winning funding at USAID Startup Weekend.
2023
On to Arizona State
Asadbek won the El-Yurt Umidi national scholarship and enrolled in Robotics Engineering at ASU Polytechnic — pausing the company to go learn how to build the hardware side properly.
2026 — now
BESTARORG becomes a robotics venture
Relaunching as a student robotics venture. Flagship project: CropSCOUT, a modular agricultural robot built for Uzbekistan's small and mid-size farms.
July — August 2026
CAD model frozen
Full SolidWorks assembly of the field-scale CropSCOUT — chassis, drivetrain, and every attachment interface — modeled, reviewed, and frozen for fabrication.
September 2026
Everything ready
The machine is complete and running: fabrication and welding done, motors and the Teensy 4.1 stack in, the precision-spraying module and crop-monitoring sensors fitted, ROS integrated and LiDAR working. Nothing left to build.
From October 2026
Pilot
From here we put it on real plots and run it. The first number we owe our farmers is the one they asked us for directly: how many sotix an hour it can actually cover. Everything after that is measurement, failure, and iteration on ground we do not control.
Flagship project

CropSCOUT

An autonomous robot for greenhouses and small vegetable farms — precision spraying and crop monitoring first, more modules on the same base to follow.

Greenhouses and small vegetable farms — tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, strawberries — still spray by hand and check plants row by row. CropSCOUT drives those rows on its own: it applies pesticides and fertilizers in precise doses where tractors can't fit, while its camera and sensors track plant health, disease signs and crop development, streaming everything to the farmer's phone. Farmers rent it for the season, or buy it outright.

It has its own site now — the interactive demo, the field research with 22 farmers in Jizzakh, Surkhandarya and Shakhrisabz, and the module roadmap all live there.

Projects

Before robots, it was apps — and the same team is still behind both.

EyeMed app screens — eye-care reminders and screen-time tracking
BESTARORG · Android, Windows, Web

EyeMed

A cross-platform eye-health and screen-time app that fires reminders every 20–30 minutes, suggests eye exercises, and tracks per-app screen time — one codebase across three platforms.

Adiblar.uz — digital archive of Uzbek literature
BESTARORG · Cultural tech

Adiblar.uz

A digital archive of Uzbek writers, poets, and composers, released for Alisher Navoiy's 580th anniversary — ghazals, epics, and poem collections, free to read and listen to, no ads.
